NordiCHI 2014 conference opened

NordiCHI 2014 conference was opened on 28th of October 2014 in Helsinki by general chairs Virpi Roto (Aalto University) and Jonna Häkkilä (U. Oulu/CIE, U. Lapland). NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for human-computer interaction research, and it gathers together academics and practitioners to present and discuss challenges and achievements in human-computer interaction from diverse perspectives. In 2014, the conference hosts over 500 participants from 34 countries around this year’s theme ‘Fun, Fast and Foundational’. More information about the conference can be found at .
